GETTING
THERE
TRANSPORTATION
The closest airport is the Oakland International Airport. Many of the nearby hotels provide free transportation to and from the airport. If this is not available, we suggest using Uber or Lyft to get from the airport to your digs.
ACCOMMODATION
There are many places to stay nearby in Oakland, Berkeley, and San Leandro. Page's parents suggest the Courtyard Oakland Airport. It's super close to the airport and nearby our house and the venue. If you want to make a fancy occasion of it, try the Claremont Hotel, a historic and beautiful hotel only a few miles from our wedding venue.
DAY OF DETAILS
The Joaquin Miller Community Center is a short drive into the hills from any of the surrounding citites. There is ample parking directly in front of the Center and overflow parking about 100 yards away. We do, however, recommend grabbing a cab/Uber/Lyft instead of driving so you can fully enjoy the celebration! It should also be easy to schedule a pick up at the end of the night.
We've planned our wedding ceremony to take place on the deck of the community center, which has stunning views of Oakland and the Bay. There will be heat lamps in case it's cold, and don't worry, we have a back up in-door location in case it rains on our wedding day.
The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour on the deck and a beautiful buffet dinner served indoors.
We hope you also stay to dance, enjoy the night view from the deck, and lounge near the fireplace.

We were unable to secure a location to accommodate our group on Friday evening and will not be hosting an event
